Hi,

I just wanted to get an idea of what some of you use for your sprocket sizes?

12/40 or 13/41 or 12/38

I am doing alot of jumps and some MX racing.

I was thinking 12/36.

I was using a 13/40 setup, then i broke the front sprocket. when I went to get a new one all they had was a 12. I put that on and it is real great, but i lost my top end. So i was thinking of going to a 12/36 setup to get it back to what it was.

I do like the take off power of the 12 tooth.

thanks for your input.

Same here, but I'm also running a ported stroker with 190psi. I have bottom end like crazy. I do need to gear up though becasue I break free to much coming out of the corners.

i dont know if you can run a 36 can you? i though the sprocket carrier's size came into play some where when you startedrunning those smaller cogs.

I don't know why you wanna run tractor gears in the 'shee.... you'll get leg pump from shifting so fuckin much. Run a tall gear and the 4-strokes don't have a prair in the straights.
