hey whats up every1. I been a guest on here for a LONG time.. and i just ALWAYS read what you guys gotta say. Never became a member cuz i liked dirtbikes. BUT all my friends have banshees... so i always read up.. ;)

Neway... my boy just bought a non running banshee... pretty bad shape+im not as good as most of you guys r with this.

Ok.. 1st of all it came 2 me in parts... i put it all 2gether..

2nd it has spark SOMETIMES... ? I can kick it 10 times ill get spark 4-5x?

I checked all wires + coil? (behind flywheel) everything seemed ok+clean.

Now i took the head off and its all like MUDDY?? i clean it kick it over and its muddy again?

Like Brown mudd all over. And ALOT of shit comes out if i kick it over wit no head on.

There is no antifreeze in the bike (dont wanna put till i get it runnin) so i dont think its mixing..

Does ne1 know what this is? a Seal? Gasket? i cant figure it out... ? thanx :shootself:

On the spark, you might need a new CDI or maybe a coil starting to go bad???. You can ohm test the coil (get a Clymers) but with the CDI, I think the only way to check that is to swap it out.

On the "mud"..sounds like a head leak. A new head gasket isn't that much money. Replace it, then fill it with distilled water if you have to, just to see if its still leaking.

yea but head gasket keeps liquid out right? theres no liquid in the bike. I made sure i didnt put anti-freeze or water 4 that reason...

Now the headgasket is inbetween the cylinder+head where the spark plug screws in2? that gasket is new.. but i dunno about the other 1 .. i belive theres 1 more in between crankcase and cylinderhead?

btw, thanx 4 the help ;)
