y2kbanshee9187 Posted October 21, 2004 Report Posted October 21, 2004 this is probably a stupid question but i dont know much about banshees and i was looking at buyin one. I was looking at one and it has a single pipe and carb instead of twin, what are the advantages or disadvantages of this and is it a good thing? I will be doing trail riding mostly and doing hills and stuff like that. it has a cool head and i think a couple of other mods but i dont know what the reason is for doing the single carb and pipe. anyone? thanks. fixitrod Posted October 21, 2004 Report Posted October 21, 2004 A single carb and single pipe are for bottom end. Perfect for trails. I've heard the pulse from the single pipe compliments the single carb very very well but have not seen it. Quote
toolman Posted October 21, 2004 Report Posted October 21, 2004 I have single carbed and two into one pipe banshee and a stock set up.I have less trouble with the single. The one with two carbs is always needing tweaked. The single has a lectron carb which is easy to jet. The single is also easy to work on less clutter. If it's good machine buy it you will like it for trail riding. Quote
