01bansheeke Posted October 17, 2004 Report Posted October 17, 2004 (edited) For some reason, the slide on the shift side will not go all the way down. I opened up the box on top of the carbs and the plastic piece on the idle screw is busted...could this be my problem? I know nothing is stopping the slide (inside the carb) from going all the way down because i can put my slide in and it goes all the way down. Is it possible that something is wrong with my throttle cable? Please help, gotta have this thing ready for the HQ ride at little sahara. I want to do the tors removal kit, but what i need right now is a quick fix to get it running. 01bansheeke Posted October 17, 2004 Author Report Posted October 17, 2004 yes it is. it will only go in one way..with the cutout facing back...its noticeably higher than the brake side. Also, does the tors eliminator i just bought come with a the cable from the thumb throttle back? Quote
Big Blue Posted October 17, 2004 Report Posted October 17, 2004 The my tors kit from vitos came with the cable from the thumb throttle back. not sure about your slide though, do you already have your tors kit? if not i wouldnt mess with it until it come in. if you dont have it done by the hq ride get what you can done and finish it up there, should be plenty of people to help out.
