Dirpmp2000 Posted September 19, 2004 Report Posted September 19, 2004 People said and i even said this that the banshee gears are too short. Are there any ways to make them a bit more longer becuase i would like my gears to be a longer. What can i get to get a better bottom end? I just got a banshee so im trying to learn more and more Quote
bigwill Posted September 19, 2004 Report Posted September 19, 2004 change your sprockets-alot depends on your weight and engine modds-try going up on your front-what size are you currently running? Try a 15 on the front-dont listen to PEOPLE-listen to other banshee owners-they are PLENTY of good banshee owners here who can guide you in the RIGHT direction Quote
Dirpmp2000 Posted September 19, 2004 Author Report Posted September 19, 2004 i dont really know how many teeth it has, its stock thats all i know. Quote
racer Posted September 20, 2004 Report Posted September 20, 2004 it has 14 teeth i think stock, just check yamaha's website to be sure. for longr gears you can go up one front tooth or down 2-3 on the back. but for bottom end you will need to get lower gear ratio via a smaller front or a larger rear sprocket.
