I'm gonna mill the head down, and am thinking of going to 100LL av-gas, how much should I take off?? I am at 4500' and am running stock timing.

I was thinking around .050 or so

.030 and thats it. Unless you can do that squish thing everyone talks about so you dont blow it up.

That's correct, if you take off more than .030" you will have to recut the squish band to regain the proper clearance.

i foget who it is but he has his stock head shaves 1/16 and i think hes running pump gas. sounds crazzy. maybe hes running race gas idunno. ill find him if he doesnt reply.
