sprockets and chain size

I am going to one down in the front and would like to go two up in the rear and was wondering if a stock lenth chain would fit. I have the 13t on alredy and have to order the 43t. The problem is I want to go riding now and dont want to buy two chains. I know stock length will fit on 13t 41t as it sits now. Will first gear be gone with the new sprockets. I am looking for more torque and bite so am I going in the right direction?

My stock length chain can be adjust to accomodate a 15t front down to a 13t front. Only one way to find out how the 13/41 works, suck that chain down and go ride brotha. You might like it, i don't, think the gears are a little too close, i actually like the 15/41 much better, and it doesn't spin as much because it's not so low geared, hooks up a little better, and i can still drag start in 2nd.

I guess I am just looking to hook better. I cant even get it off the ground it just sit there and spins. I ride mostly loose surfaces and it is just killing me. If I went up in the front wouldnt that increase top end?
