DT40Banshee Posted July 23, 2004 Report Posted July 23, 2004 I've been riding alot more motocross lately and i've been thinkin about gettin 18" rear.....If i get these are they gonna make me spin more and not hook up as good since they are a smaller tire? and is it better to have a smaller rim or a bigger rim?? Also if you get 18" rears what size fronts do u want to run 20" or 19"?? Just wanted to hear some different opinions....18" or would you just leave them at 20x11...Thanks Quote

The quad will have a lower center of gravity, so it will handle better, and it will accelerate and brake better. On the front, some people say the smaller front tires, like 19's, seem to find ruts much easier, I have never tried them so I dont know, but I run 21's and have no complaints. Quote
