Now i just got a complete topend and 84 electronics minus a CDI for a 84.. and i have 3 spare 85 CDI's. I know the 84 CDI's had a lot of problems just didnt think the 52y would work in its place...thanks for the input rzcolobanshee Quote
rzcolobanshee Posted June 25, 2004 Report Posted June 25, 2004 Somebody told me a long time ago that the 84 stator wont work with the 85 cdi, so I swapped out both, but everything else is 84...I think the 84 stator would work just fine with the 85 cdi, you just have to splice in the wires correctly and you'll be fine Quote
