ledofthezep Posted May 17, 2004 Report Posted May 17, 2004 Providing I have my banshee back together by then; I'm there! Quote
wesw Posted May 19, 2004 Report Posted May 19, 2004 well i might have to go to it being 25 miles away. last yr we went to it and my god was it muddy. my brother in law rode. it hard to do the events with just a normal shee. the guys that won had a 250 that was about 2 off the ground adn a super short swingarm. brotherinlaw bike didnt even come close sure it threw some mud but it didnt win him any money Quote
bansheefreak Posted May 19, 2004 Report Posted May 19, 2004 (edited) what all goes on there???? and where s the at so i can get better directions????? i would be coming from olathe,ks.. and sounds like fun would like to try and going Edited May 19, 2004 by bansheefreak Quote
ledofthezep Posted May 19, 2004 Report Posted May 19, 2004 bansheefreak, check out their site for infomation. I'd check out mapquest for specific driving instructions on getting there from your location. Does sound like a lot of fun... For those who have done this before...??? How do you think solid struts would work, I'm thinking of slamming the front end & also the back with some struts. Sound like a good idea or should I just take a tie-down & sinch down the front end and leave the back alone? I'll be running the -2 arm for sure. Of course I'll only be doing this providing my shee is all back together by then. Quote
bansheefreak Posted May 19, 2004 Report Posted May 19, 2004 solid struts is a bad idea .. you need the front end to move... my buddie tried that one yr flat tracking and he wrecked...cus it is just solid and bouncing on tires Quote
ledofthezep Posted May 19, 2004 Report Posted May 19, 2004 (edited) Kinda what I was thinking...maybe I'll borrow my cousin's LT250R shocks, they're a bit smaller in length(I think ) but I'd still have some suspension. Edited May 19, 2004 by ledofthezep Quote

wesw Posted May 21, 2004 Report Posted May 21, 2004 there were a few that used the tie down for the back to slam it down. for those that dont know what they do the do barrels where go around 3 barrels in a order, timed, then i think the do pole where you weave thru 8 pole about 10 ft apart roughly. then a flag pick up around a barrel. if you ever been to a rodeo well instead of a horse you use an atv. later Quote
