tweeder_82_us Posted April 1, 2004 Report Posted April 1, 2004 ok all i got is pro design air filter, fmf pipes and 260 jets. its been running fine with this set up for a good year now, but lately at low rpms it seems to bog and backfire from the right cylinder. i changed my gas, cleaned my carbs, changed the plugs, problem still exsists. it seems like there is too much fuel sittin in with the reed cage when i look at it. what could the problem be ? my coil not firing the right cyclinder as powerful anymore to ignite all the fuel? my reeds? i thought my reeds looked fine....i just dont know and i need help please ! vmaxup Posted April 1, 2004 Report Posted April 1, 2004 COil or stator. Check the wires going into coil make shure there tight Quote
boonman Posted April 1, 2004 Report Posted April 1, 2004 What is your elevation? 4500'???? 260 mains with pipes???? That is hella lean. You may have loosened up a wire as aforementioned, or you could also have clogged the pilot jet..... Quote
Yamahammer Posted April 1, 2004 Report Posted April 1, 2004 check the float height as well does it only do it when cold or all the time, have you cleaned the filter and oiled it how much oil did you use Quote
