89 bansheedude Posted March 16, 2004 Report Posted March 16, 2004 well i have pjw28 kehin or however you spell it carbs, and they was for my stock jet. over the winter i have added some procircuit pipes and silences, ported cages with tdr reeds and i have.060 bore with wiseco pistons if that matters. needing help on where i should start the jeeting at or what jets i might need to get. i havent ever jetted carbs before. and i dont know my elavation i live in tennessee in the valley. thanks, jayare Quote
spoin39 Posted March 16, 2004 Report Posted March 16, 2004 As long as everything else is stock and you are keeping the airbox and lid, I would start at a 280-290 main, needle in the middle, and 1-2 turns out with the stock pilot. After you get it running do a plug check, you might have to adjust a little to get perfect but this is a safe start. Check the jetting faq if you need to know how to do a plug check/chop. Quote
89 bansheedude Posted March 16, 2004 Author Report Posted March 16, 2004 well yes i have the lid on the airbox but the snorkel is removed and i have 2 3 to 4 inch holes drilled in the lid. i also have a hotrods crank and rod if that matter, and i believe the head has been milled some. jayare Quote
