rebelbanshee2 Posted February 26, 2004 Report Posted February 26, 2004 i ran yamalube at 32:1 and never fouled a plug. I would look at your jetting Quote
Dune Ratt Posted February 26, 2004 Report Posted February 26, 2004 There is a reason they are giving Yamalube away for free. (IT BLOWS) spend the little bt extra for Amsoil your shee will love you for it. Quote
ledofthezep Posted February 26, 2004 Report Posted February 26, 2004 I've always ran Castor927 @ 40:1 without any problems. Quote
sredish Posted February 26, 2004 Report Posted February 26, 2004 I also run Castro at 40:1. I ran the Yamalube at 32:1 when i first got the machine. Quote
89 bansheedude Posted February 26, 2004 Author Report Posted February 26, 2004 i only get it for free bacause my like 2cd dad works for yamaha, how much is the amsoil for a gallon, and what kind should i get?, id say i will stick with yamalube. i ran it in my blaster for along time befor i sold it. thanks all, jayare Quote
Ducman Posted February 26, 2004 Report Posted February 26, 2004 I run the Yamalube R at 36:1 with no fouling problems, no carbon buildup on the piston dome or the head either. It had a good amount of oil film on the cylinder walls, piston and head domes. Smokes a lot on start up but who doesn't. Quote
theeechozen1 Posted February 26, 2004 Report Posted February 26, 2004 that is a good oil at a good ratio, thin out your mains and do a plug check to see where your at. Quote
89 bansheedude Posted February 26, 2004 Author Report Posted February 26, 2004 i have no clue anything about jetting, i know my plugs a really wet with oil. so that means im rich, what do i do to fix that? need help. thanks, jayare Quote
Holyman Posted February 26, 2004 Report Posted February 26, 2004 I used to run Yamalube at 40:1. Now I run Amsoil 80:1. Amsoil 100:1 is only $2.50 to mix 5 gallons at 80:1 or 100:1 for 6 gallons. See me if you want to order some. Quote
