there deffinately isnt a place on earth with more freedom, but that isnt an excuse to let our governemnt run away on us.  I love my country, Im just not fond of its governement.  I do vote, and am joining the NRA so i am doing what i can.  Just trying to make some people think thats all.

I can live with that. :)

Joining the NRA is a great move. When I got my pistol permit they showed us a movie the NRA made on how in other countries they banned civilians to own guns. The sad part is it looks like there trying to do that here as well.

I agree, I fear the US government. Although, I do love the US, but we will continue to have the problems we have now in our government reguardless of who is in office, due to right wing political pushers. I do like my firearms and don't plan to get off them too easy when gun control takes place, its gonna happen, just a matter of when. Its way toooo many gun control right wing pigeons in the US, look at the Brady family. Remember this, people kill people, not guns. You all better wake up and realize we almost live in a communist world over here. The government has a say in just about everything you do, how fast you drive, how much money you make, how much you can legally drink and drive, where you can smoke and where you can't, where you can build your home and can't. Just look at alot of practices you use right now, in one fit, form, or fashion its controlled by the government, either local, state, or federal. I'm trippin but its the truth! I hate all politicians except for the Bush family, they rock!

I fear the tree huggers out lawing 2 strokes. I know its already going to happen, but I don't see a reason for it. Look at how many engines are 2 stroke, and how often are they ran. How long are they running too???

They've (who every "they" are) already banned snow mobiles in Yellowstone AGAIN, and Yellowstone isn't that far from St Anthonys in Idaho. Its going to be a sad day when 2 strokes aren't produced anymore. I bet some of these top notch engine builders will have a way to reproduce them though. ;)

I fear my riding areas being closed down because of a weed someone thinks might be getting run over. A weed that has survived LIVING OUT IN THE MIDDLE OF NO GOD DAMN WHERE FOR CENTURIES!!!!!

I also fear trashing my banshee again. Its been a real pain in the ass rebuilding it this time.

I've been to a few third world ports, and they are not pretty. It makes me appreciate what I got here even with its problems.  Lets just say at least we have some kind of say in our government.

Your gonna get these problems in a democracy cause there really are more of them than there are of us and majority rules.  Its not so much the government as it is the people who bitch about the stuff so that these stupid laws are inacted in the first place.

This really is why some of us here bitch about helmets all the time.  Every couple days we read about someone dying w/out a helmet on.  The media gets ahold of it and runs with it, now the general public who don't really know what our sport is about think that riding an ATV is the most dangerous thing you could do.  So when vote time comes they remember the deaths and vote against our sport.  Its basically the whole rotten apple deal which is why I hate seeing people ride without helmets.

The same can be said about gun control, etc.

BTW,

GO PATS!!!!

We have a democracy? What A joke...We have one of the weakest forms of democracy possible....A strong democracy is one where the leaders are able to guid the people to the point that after they leave we are able to lead ourselves...

We have very little power in deciding laws or anything the government regulates...I blame it all on capitalism....

Still better off than many places, but we are not as well off as we should be for how much wealth our nation owns...I just don't think its the people who get the laws made, its all about the government brain washing the people to make more profits, or worse yet, more capital...

"We fought your wars with all our hearts,

You sent us back in body parts,

You took our wills with the truth you stole,

We offer prayers for you long lost soul.

The remainder is,

An unjustifiable, egotistical, power struggle

At the expense of the American Dream,

Of the American Dream, of the American,

Of the American."

System Of A Down
