gumby Posted January 4, 2004 Report Posted January 4, 2004 well this winter i decided to tear her down and clean her up i was wondering what u can do with old pipes that still function and run good but look like hell i was told that i cant rechrome them cuase of the carbon on the pipes so can i get them ceramic coated or somthing and if so how much u think it is roughly Quote
SICK BOY Posted January 4, 2004 Report Posted January 4, 2004 I had motorcycle pipes rechromed with no problem before.They plug the ends,clean them,polish them,then nickle them,dip them in chrome and then do a finial polish.The carbon is on the inside and your not chroming there. Quote
