I went to a site witha free scanner and I got a couple of things. But I have to buy it in order to remove it. Any info on this subject would be great. Thanks ahead of time Quote

I had one ad in particular that kept popping up and it would open my cd-rom. It started to piss me off when it ejected cds that I was trying to burn. wouldn't have been so bad if it would have shut the drawer too, and not wasted my cds. Ran ad-aware once, and haven't had any re-occurances from it yet. Quote
Wallrat Posted January 3, 2004 Report Posted January 3, 2004 Check out the dark tips section of thescreensavers They've got all sorts of sweet shit there including direct links to ad-aware and spy-bot free downloads. Use em both, they're free and everytime I run them both one will get a couple more spyware programs that the other missed. Quote
