1st Post...please Help With

got me first banshee in April, it is ballz-to-the-wall awesome

 

I bought an 01' from guy who builds and races drag, this was his duner'

 

Modifications:

tors kit has been removed and the stock carbs have been bored, boost bottle, prodesign cool head with 18cc domes, renthal bars and grip answer levers, wisco piston kit, toomey 2into1 fmf fatty & silencer

 

I bought the Vforce 2 & wanted to try installing them --after installing the reeds I blew out the carbs and cleaned them up, they were spotless.

Then i put the carbs back on and made sure that the barrels dropped, (though the cutaway was not directly facing the airbox?)

 

After screwing down the caps, first thing I noticed is that i lost tension in the throttle--just ordered a Clymer manual but wont have it for couple days--if anyone could help me with some suggestions of where to start or look

whats your problem? It seems like you know a lot about Banshee. You can figure out how to take carbs apart and install them but you dont know how to adjust throttle cable?

the cut aways should be facing the air box. and mayby your cable is disconected at one of the slides just a guess.
