smpryder350 Posted December 17, 2003 Report Posted December 17, 2003 MY first post.. Ok well down to business. This is what I did. I had FMF pipes and silencers on my bike and ran good on stock carbs, well I wanted to be creative and tried trinity's 2 into 1 carb setup. Well with no prevail I could never get it to run good so I got very frustrated. I now have bought some toomey t5 and put my stock carbs back on and rejetted with the dyno-jet kit. I ran the 280 jet since I live in So cal and I mainly ride in glamis. I followed all the instructions and have all the screws where they tell me to put them. I left the tors system on as well, but for some reason the right side still misses alot and the whole bike wont idle. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, or anymore questions Quote
Yamahammer Posted December 17, 2003 Report Posted December 17, 2003 try un pluging the black tors box under the driverside (Shifter side) fender and see if it idles if it does there is youre problem.. Also check to make sure you have the choke tube between the carbs on.. if that checks out you may have an air leak spray starting fluid carb cleaner wd40 so on around the carbs and intake to see if it changes the idle Quote
