camp0429 Posted October 19, 2018 Report Posted October 19, 2018 I can offer you a bit of advice on replacing your reeds, I always use a little Yamabond to seal both sides of the reed and the intake. They like to leak there if no sealer is used. Quote
vanillaGorilla33 Posted November 17, 2018 Report Posted November 17, 2018 If the reed cage or intake boot is leaking it will cause a high idle. I just had this problem, on a ‘96 even. The reed cage was sealed up well enough to pass a leak down test but still leaked enough to affect the idle.Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Quote
