87 project bike I picked up

For this on craigslist for 1k. Guy told me the motor was fine except the top end and needed a bore. Open it up and found broken teeth on the clutch basket and idler gear. Also the countershaft was bent on the tranny. Came with lots of extra parts even though most of it was rusty af. Turning out halfway decent so far considering it was a pile of scrap when I picked it up. Plan on selling it when Im done. Just cleaned the cases the other day and replaced the bent countershaft. Just gotta finish this roller and put the motor back together.

Half ass job on the clutch cover but the silencers turned out good. 400 grit 800 1000 then 1500. 00 steel whool then mothers.

This is just a project that I am going to sell when I am done.  Roller should be all put together tomorrow and hopefully Friday I can get the motor all sealed up.

Roller is done except brakes. Cases sealed. Polished a few parts while im waiting to get a few more things. Motor will be done tomorrow.

Nobody cares but im still updating this lol it has spark so good to know the flywheel and cdi wasnt junk either. Trying to shoot for first start up tomorrow.

That's the plan..

Its bored .020 over stock with pro lites, macdaddy pancake bearing, all new stock clutch components, idler gear, all new bottom end seals, compulsive concepts harness behind the gas tank cdi kill switch tether, ceramic coated t5s polished silencers, extended axle. Should be a nice little stock bike, nothing special obviously but good for someone just starting out or looking for a base to build off of.
