JimJones Posted December 28, 2015 Report Posted December 28, 2015 Hey guys I'm kind of new to all of this what I'm wondering is I keep seeing +2+1 in reference to A arms and have absolutely no idea what that means. Can somebody explain? Quote
JimJones Posted December 28, 2015 Author Report Posted December 28, 2015 Also like I said I'm kind of new so I don’t really know brand names but what brands make the best A arms? From what I have been reading about suspension most people tend to regard Elka as one of the best for shocks so who is in this same category when it comes to A arms? Quote
mtsnieg Posted December 28, 2015 Report Posted December 28, 2015 2 inches extended outward, 1 inch extended forward. Quote
Bennett131 Posted December 28, 2015 Report Posted December 28, 2015 I have stage 3 elka shocks, they are nice but if I did it again I would buy fox. Just my .02. Quote

JimJones Posted December 28, 2015 Author Report Posted December 28, 2015 Just doing some more googling and came across Roll Design A arms. Are these guys in the top tier when it comes to A arms for Banshees? Quote

JimJones Posted December 28, 2015 Author Report Posted December 28, 2015 Also from what I have been reading it seems that if you don’t have plans to do a lot of jumps then you don’t need long travel suspension. Is this correct? Quote
JimJones Posted December 28, 2015 Author Report Posted December 28, 2015 What's the purpose of an extended swing arm? What companies should I be looking at that are in the same league as Elka, Fox Racing and Roll Design? Quote
JimJones Posted December 28, 2015 Author Report Posted December 28, 2015 Another question do the Roll Design A arms come with new ball joints? If not who makes the best ones? Quote

Invader Posted December 29, 2015 Report Posted December 29, 2015 Give roll design a call. He will get you all the info you need. They are located in fallbrook, which is north San Diego. He may try to up sell you to the stage 5 Elka's. Haha I will be buying their arms and some Elka's, hopefully soon!!! Quote
