Installing HIDs

Obviously the black will go to the black wire on the harness side and then you connect the hot wire to the yellow wire on the harness side which is the high beam hot wire.

End result is a plug-n-play hid kit!!!

 

For the rest of the install I'm going to put good use to my behind radiator CDI bracket to mount the ballasts for a clean hidden install... Pics to follow

The hid's throw a bunch of light. I used the oem housings. H6m bulb iirc

Yep your memory serves you well... I know Theresa's been debate of HIDs burning the housing and some other BS but I don't think I will have to worry about all that shit I just want to see for when I occasionally ride at night

I decided to make this battery box a little bit easier to take off the battery retainer, I used an internal lock washer stacked on an external lock washer with a washer and wing nut on the top. Resulting in me being able to tighten the wing nut with out using wrenches in a tight spot.
