ryguy27 Posted September 3, 2015 Report Posted September 3, 2015 My 01 is Fresh off a complete rebuild from hot rods crank to fresh topend. All new seals gaskets o rings. New water pump gear, bearing and seal. New intakes new exhaust rings and springs. Runs great , starts first kick every time. About 10 hrs on it and it started Making a chattering noise on deceleration . Sounds near water pump. Could it be the gear already or impeller? Quote
sleeper06 Posted September 3, 2015 Report Posted September 3, 2015 Does the noise change when you pull the clutch, did you overheat or anything run it outta fuel . Usually collapsed piston skirts will cause a noise on decel Quote
