Modquad axel nuts, how do I install?

Looking to put the modquad double locking axel nut on after replacing axel bearings. Questions are, 1) ok to put on stock shaft? 2)is there a spec to tighten without a torque wrench? Basically, if you could tell me how to install that'd be great

I have ran that same lock nut on my bike with a stock axel shaft for 2 yrs now with no problems. The lock nut comes with an adjuster. I just tighten the piss out of it with the supplied adjuster, tighten the two allen bolts to lock it in place and go ride. Never have had an issue.

You can't over tighten that?

I'm sure you can, but if you use the supplied adjuster, you will bend the adjuster before you over tighten the lock nut.
