ATVR Posted July 18, 2015 Report Share Posted July 18, 2015 Tell me about Silver Lakes. How does it compare to Little Sahara, OK.? I have been to Little Sahara, but not Silver Lakes. Frankthetank Posted July 18, 2015 Report Share Posted July 18, 2015 I have not been to Little Sahara but have many friends who have been to both and I have been to Silver Lake many times. Silver lake is around 450 acres and is very beautiful. Meaning, tall dunes, nice beach on Lake Michigan, views of Lake Michigan and of Silver lake. On holiday weekends it can be crazy busy and hard to get into, but the drag racing is fun and competitive. If you are used to riding at Little Sahara, I have heard it compared to downhill skiing in Michigan vs Colorado. Whereabouts are you from? shanYE west Posted July 18, 2015 Report Share Posted July 18, 2015 Little Sahara is by far the better choice for riding since you can ride when ever you want right from your camp site. It also helps its 4x larger. Silver lake is nice for us locals.. since its all we got.. but if you been to LS OK.. then silver lake will probably be a disappointment.
