SiCkBaNsHeE_990 Posted November 17, 2003 Author Report Posted November 17, 2003 Ok thanks i was also wondering what size i should put in. What is probly the next size up. I have fmf pipes and k&n filter on it and i need a bigger pilot jet. Quote
BdBanshee Posted November 17, 2003 Report Posted November 17, 2003 I usually put #30 pilot jets in Banshees with pipes, and #35 pilots if they are ported also, or sometimes just with clamp ons and pipes. This is with the stock carbs. It's not an exact science but it should get you close. Quote
boonman Posted November 17, 2003 Report Posted November 17, 2003 Yamaha part #'s are as follows: # 25- 260-14142-25 # 27.5- 260-14142-27 #30- 260-14142-30 #32.5- 260-14142-32 #35- 260-14142-35 I am running 27.5 in my bike right now, and I can let it idle all day long. Doesn't load up, and runs perfect.... Quote
Justintoxicated Posted November 17, 2003 Report Posted November 17, 2003 FMF recomends 30/32 pilots for K&N no lid and Fattys...I would probably go with the size 30, as the 32.5 if enough for all that + porting and advanced timing on mine (Even a little rich i htink but idles fine, dies when you pull the choke out though). just pulled my stock one and it was a 25.
