quadpro26 Posted July 7, 2014 Report Posted July 7, 2014 easier to just go buy the bearings. same outside diam. just 40mm inner diam. Quote
Starwriter Posted July 11, 2014 Report Posted July 11, 2014 It's not that simple. 40mm bearings are narrower than 35. At minimum, you would need a different spacer tube. Some carriers can be converted. Some can not. Quote
quadpro26 Posted July 13, 2014 Report Posted July 13, 2014 they make 40mm bearings in the wide version (you have to order them). if you want them right now then get 4 narrower ones. Quote
Starwriter Posted July 13, 2014 Report Posted July 13, 2014 The OP wants to trade a 40 for a 35, so would need narrow 35 bearings. I tried to convert a 40 to 35. A friend of mine works at a bearing supply place. He couldn't come up with anything. What is your source for these "special" bearings? Quote
quadpro26 Posted July 23, 2014 Report Posted July 23, 2014 lonestar carries the wide ones. or run 2 on each side of the other Quote
