05-SE-SHEE Posted April 1, 2014 Report Posted April 1, 2014 Just purchased a 05 SE Blk/purple ghost flames with like 15 hours on it. Lots of Cascade add ons. Nice find. It came with the T 5's and airbox delete. Running pretty rich with a low end bog using 290 mains and stock pilot. clip in position 3. Was wondering if someone could suggest a starting point for my pilot and main jetting along with needle clip position. Heres what it has now. t5's Airbox and snorkel delete K&N filterw with outerwears Tors delete Ricky stator advance plate set at 4 degrees. Chariot Head with 21mm Noss domes. Vforce 4 reed Guy said to run 32:1 Castor, ; I'd like to run a minimum of 36:1 with a possibility to going up to 49:1 . What do you thing about the mix? Thanks, Quote
05-SE-SHEE Posted April 1, 2014 Author Report Posted April 1, 2014 300 feet. Most of my riding will be done on the oregon coast in the summertime I expect. Thanks. Quote
BUILDER Posted April 1, 2014 Report Posted April 1, 2014 You should be pretty close on your jetting. Usually a bike setup like that running on the Oregon coast with want a 27.5 pilot and around a 270 main. Needle clip you just need to play with and see what the bike wants. Every bike is different yours may be fine with stock pilot or may want a bigger one. I would put a 270 main in it and see how it runs. Only change on jet at a time do not do the pilot and the main at the same time. 40:1 is fine I run my stuff at 50:1 and all my friends run 40:1 Quote
