micahkrs87 Posted March 11, 2014 Report Posted March 11, 2014 Hi I just traded a snowmobile off for a 96 banshee it has g force adjustable axle on it and the hubs have a-lot of play in them the splines are in good condition. Do the make a better hub to run with this axle or are they a junk axle? I was considering getting rid of it. Also this thing is set up for ice racing and needs headlights, taillight, light switch, and the key switch all reinstalled I want to make it trail friendly again. Does anyone know a good place to find stock mounting brackets/switches ect....? Quote
2004LEBanshee Posted March 11, 2014 Report Posted March 11, 2014 Uses stock style hubs. Any that use stock splines should work. I put red rail.road locktite on the splines of the hub when i put them on. Seems to help on stripped splines. The come off with a hammer. Quote
micahkrs87 Posted March 11, 2014 Author Report Posted March 11, 2014 Ok thank you I might try that when I get my new hubs in. Quote
2004LEBanshee Posted March 12, 2014 Report Posted March 12, 2014 Put it on thick and let it dry over night. Tighten bolts with impact. Be sure to make it so cotter key bearly fits through. Temp fix but works. Quote
