cylinder coating options

Recommended Posts

Ok so I have been talking to my powder coater about options for coating the cylinders they pointed me to ceramic coating and the ceramic coaters said its not advised because it holds in heat, so my question is what are the options for coating your cylinders? Surely rattle can high temp cant be the only option???

Polish, paint, powder, ceramic, rattle can, raw, do whatever. Temp will not be effected. The motor is water cooled not air cooled.

I had fully polished and clear ceramic coated cylinders. No issues. I run a digital water temp gauge so I'm 100% sure.

DON'T ceramic coat pipes tho.
