JDP421 Posted November 30, 2013 Report Posted November 30, 2013 I'm running a 7mm cub , shearers , 30m bored and tappers to 32mm I believe . carbs running 155 mains and I'm not sure on the pilot , the bike will run good until I get to the flats and drag it will launch 2 gear override to 3 and them won't shift and if I get it blows the plugs out of the head ? Jetting or timing ? What do you guys think Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
sleeper06 Posted December 1, 2013 Report Posted December 1, 2013 Those carbs are making that motor suck through a straw, get bigger carbs ,could be anything you went from carbs to not shifting to plugs backing out.first step is leakdown b4meltdown search it in this site build a tester ,IMO any leakage is unacceptable and it's gotta hold 6lbs 4 six minutes . Next give us compression numbers and octane used . Next get us timing used Quote

O/CbansheeRider Posted December 1, 2013 Report Posted December 1, 2013 I think he's running 91 needs more octane from his post yesterday but idk much only what i read. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
sleeper06 Posted December 1, 2013 Report Posted December 1, 2013 Yeh I didn't read that either way that thing needs more fuel bad but we need to know the state of the motor to help,if it won't shift could be a fork or eccentric adjustment or lack of but backing the plugs is pretty serif better test the state of that motor Quote
