Sprocket size for bolt on banshee?

Did some street riding with some friends and could not keep up with them do to running out of gear. They told me to get a 16 tooth front sprocket, so i ordered it. Did some searching and a bunch of guys say its too much for a bolt on bike. Is this true? My bike is stock other than T6 pipes (changing to CPI pipes soon), no air box, proflow adapter with K&N, got an adjustable timing plate going on very soon aswell. Going with stock size rear tires.

16 might be a bit much out the hole but will give you the top end. Might want to try a 15.

I have a dune port 4 mil, I was running 14/41 for a whole. I actually just got a 15 on2 days ago. Most around here run 14-15

if your running long distance and need speed. 16 for sure
