jet sizes?

ok so somehow I ended up with a bunch of jets for banshee carbs small ones that I will never use...I was contemplating just bringing them to work and drilling them out (im a machinist) so I don't have to buy new ones. the only thing im unsure of is say I go from a 270 main to a 280 how many thousandths bigger does the hole get? just wondering so I can drill them to the size I need I have like 3 pairs of 270s lol
