cruddymutt Posted July 22, 2013 Report Posted July 22, 2013 Having trouble deciding on a swingarm for my daughters drag banshee. Heres what it has. Its a +6 up front frame, +14 swingarm with linkage currently. Motor is a 14mm T-rex with 76mm pistons running on alky. Tires are 16 paddle haulers with a 74 RO. My friend builds his own swingarms and will make one any length I want. They are no linkage type. Should I go with a 14" or drop it down to a 12 or 10 and use gearing, clutch tuning, tires to keep front end down? We just picked up this bike and haven't run it so I have no data to share on its current config. Swingarm that's on it currently has "issues" and Im not confident in its construction, especially with my daughter on it. Rider is 125 lbs at most. Thanks in advance. 1 Quote
camatv Posted July 22, 2013 Report Posted July 22, 2013 can your daughter handle a wheelie monster? are you going to run a bar on it? thats a LOT of motor and a ton of tire. Quote
