BansheeBC Posted April 9, 2013 Report Posted April 9, 2013 When i bought my yfz-shee it had this on there. now never being one to try it i was a little afraid of it. but the guy i bought the bike from said he used it non stop. all the time. worked like a charm. but to me i like to feel the shift. so its on the chopping block. This is almost everything in the picture. it also has a custom mounting plate for the cylinder that is still on the bike. ( see picture) but ill go over and take it off if and when it sells. i dont know much about this setup. but from what i gather. i think its a 829 cylinder its 3.3 inches. cylinder length. not counting the mount areas. has the high pressure valve on it, the kill setup that attaches to your ignition and big nos bottle to hold lots of air lol. its actually wired just like it came off the bike. so just hook everything back up as it is now and it should work flawlessly once you line out your shifter mount. and the only reason im not including my shifter is because its been cut down for the yfz frame. so might not work well on a banshee. going to say 275 for everything shipped pp gift.. 110horsy Posted July 2, 2013 Report Posted July 2, 2013 So this air shift is we're you hit a button and it shifts or what's the purpose of it? I have heard of them but don't know much Quote
BansheeBC Posted July 2, 2013 Author Report Posted July 2, 2013 Yes. It has a kill switch that hooks to your ignition coil. Kills the bike for a split second while it shifts. Purpose is so you don't have to use the clutch lever or manually shift. Pretty neat but I never used it like previous owner did. He swore by it when I bought bike from him. Quote
110horsy Posted July 2, 2013 Report Posted July 2, 2013 So you do have to push the shifter up or it shifts by it self Quote
BansheeBC Posted July 2, 2013 Author Report Posted July 2, 2013 You push the button and air shifts the bike for you. It attaches to your shifter. I don't include one that's on it because it's shortened for yfz conversion frame. So you will need to modify a stock shifter. Quote
BansheeBC Posted July 2, 2013 Author Report Posted July 2, 2013 No just up. you wouldnt want to loose all control. Quote
