Very clean looking bike, I have seen my friend buy a banshee that had port work and a 4 mil crank. The the top end went in it, he tore it all apart and it was all stock inside. If its all been done then I think its a good deal!

Looks to have the infamous "boost bottle".

Seems to me that anyone that really knows about these machines knows that a boost bottle is more trouble than its worth.

I'm just sayin!!

True, but it doesnt mean some tard didnt waste money on some nice parts for it. Both cubs I bought for cheap had boost bootles on them. Got both of them for cheap and made some coin parting them out.

No, it really doesn't and it could be a great deal, but I was getting the impression that he was looking to buy it, ride it and enjoy it, not part it out.  Question for you, when using 36-40 mm carbs can you get intakes to accept a boost bottle?  Asking because I don't know and not trying to ruffle your feathers.

And I should have kept the first cub, but only oaying 800 and making a 2k profit, it was hard to say no to parting it

How did that one run?  And how did you find a deal like that?

It had a spark issue, but it ran. Guy was selling his sons bike and had no idea what he had.

But I also bought a poor mans drag 421 for 1200 and it was a strong runner. Cl ftw

Sounds good, the best deal I got was a 2007 roller complete, missing engine and chain for $54.93 (200 ryals-qatar currency) and I put my spare engine in it.  I'm gonna try and get it back to the states when we come back.  Dunno, it being an '07 might cause me some hassle.

What's a poor man's 421 if you don't mind me asking?
