ICULOKN Posted February 14, 2013 Report Posted February 14, 2013 On one of my bikes I have a Cheetah Powervalve Motor. I have been told it takes a "special" shearer inframe to fit? The bike had Trinity Stage IV pipes when I got it but I switched them to Shearer OOF Silenced pipes. I want some inframes for it to test with at a track day. I wanted to try CPI or Shearers just to see how they ran but im told they wont fit?? Only differance I can see if the carbs being alittle further back because of the longer intakes on the powervalve motor. Anyone have real info to help? Quote
WINDYCITYJOHN400 Posted February 14, 2013 Report Posted February 14, 2013 Yeah, buy some Small Bore Shearer In-Frames and just install them. They fit fine and make the most power for your motor. At worst you might need to space the head pipe hanger out a 1/4 to 1/2 and inch. I just used an extra stainless nut as a spacer. Now all you gotta do is find some SB In-Frame Shearers. Good Luck.
