IceAlmeida Posted October 31, 2012 Report Posted October 31, 2012 im in the middle of doing this dc conversion and i just wanna ask you for some guidance on this here is the two pictures ... http://s1288.beta.ph...html?sort=3&o=0 http://s1288.beta.ph...html?sort=3&o=1 thats where i float my ground from so what i do is heat up that solder remove it until i get to the copper wire you see in the pics? and attach my piece of like 3.5 foot wire and solder it to that other copper wire from in the pics? im using a 45 watt soldering iron ..... it seems like its gonna be tough to get that copper wire loose ???? any help is appreciated Quote
Coupelx Posted October 31, 2012 Report Posted October 31, 2012 I like to cut the whole glob off and trim as needed. Faster and easier for those not comfortable with soldering. Then lightly sand the coating off the wire and solder your new wire on. Quote
