Need HELP!

Installed a mull water impeller and billet gear but the impeller rubs the housing bad and their is alot of play back and forth and yes i installed it right checked and re checked please help dont believe it should be like this. Thanks

Did you replace the seal?

And wait more then 20 minutes for a response. It's late and past a lot of people's bed times. I just sneak back to the computer

Yes new seal but u would not think that would matter

Pro design billet impeller, FTW!! Lol Are u sure it's fully seated in?

Yes it seated its almost like where the impeller meets the seal is to short on the impeller its self i was going to go with the pro designs but someone said just get it from mull when i got the gear so i did now im having this problem.

You got the pin lined up? Did you try to tap it with a rubber mallet to see if you can get a little more room out of it?

Their is alot of play alot more than the seal could help i believe pin is in ever thing is right but the play in the impeller

after you slip the impeler in , it goes pin then gear ,washer and c clip.did you put the washer on? goodluck

Guys, I am involved right now and will work through the issue with him. I am still not quite sure what the "play" is but I believe this is in reference to the axial or push/pull play in the impeller with the pump cover off. They all move a bit in that respect but never the less, we will get it figured out and get him going. I am still not sure what is going on.
