Hey guys, I just put my engine together and found out it had no spark. After checking all the electrical components and finding they were all good, I hit the throttle while kicking and I would get spark. Is this normal? I have a single carb setup with what looks like the factory thumb throttle. Do I need to cut the wiring coming out of this thumb throttle and connect them together to get rid of the throttle switches? Or is there something else I need to do? My engine runs good, just doesn't like to idle very well at the moment. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

check under the gas tank kind of to the left. If there is a black box, UN plug it.

BMF...

Do a search on TORS. Or Throttle Override system. It's a great idea in theory, but in real world it usually fails and causes a whole bunch of What the F's. :)
