bmfx1 Posted August 1, 2012 Report Posted August 1, 2012 Hey guys, I just put my engine together and found out it had no spark. After checking all the electrical components and finding they were all good, I hit the throttle while kicking and I would get spark. Is this normal? I have a single carb setup with what looks like the factory thumb throttle. Do I need to cut the wiring coming out of this thumb throttle and connect them together to get rid of the throttle switches? Or is there something else I need to do? My engine runs good, just doesn't like to idle very well at the moment. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Quote

If there is a black box, UN plug it. Quote
