I know this topic is always brought up but every build is different mine is 70ish hp shee 15 40 gearing +4 swinger currently running 21x12x8 9 extreme needing more tire could I run 22x11 or 22x12x8 by 10 ultralite and what is the differance if any 11" wide or 12" paddles... help a guy

The +4 is gonna limit you imo, but...switching to a wider tire u really need the rim to be wider to help get the paddles more flat then having the tire rounded more.

With the tire rounded you will have less paddle contact with the surface and will accutally loose some traction and or spin more.

With a +4 id stay with a 21x12x8. 10 paddle. U can go with a 22x11 or 22x12. Ive never really felt a traction difference from 11" to 12" wide. But i get the difference by goin up in paddle count. I run 12 paddle 22x11x8 on my 70hp 350. And its perfect.

I have a simular setup to you and run 21x9x11 10 paddle haulers and could use a little more, but works decent. I have my foot pegs down 1 back 2 that helps some.
