2strokeshees Posted June 3, 2012 Report Posted June 3, 2012 I was searching around on the topic race fuel. When I bought the banshee the guy told me he has been running 110 race fuel sine he built it. I need some help understanding this and if I need to run race gas or not. I have 155 PSI on each cylinder, trinity head, vitos 4 mil kit, the domes Iam un aware of, all he told me was that they are race gas domes .. Is there a way to tell if I pull them out? Im going to be in oregon for 2 weeks so I will be at sea level. Ill post my jets in a bit when I have them apart. Quote

Get your compression down to the 140 range, and you can run 91/93 all day long. At 155, personally, I'd run 50/50 race gas/91 mix. Quote
2strokeshees Posted June 3, 2012 Author Report Posted June 3, 2012 Ok, I pulled the flywheel cover off and looked at the timing. Its set at +7 right now? Is this a little overkill or is this the reason for running 110? Quote
