Oh man.. getting ready for this weekend. Got paddles all mounted to wheels and everything. Figured id start her and let it run for a bit, as its been a month since she ran.

Choke on, ran for 5 mins. Then died, couldnt get it to restart. Thought maybe I flooded it.. come back an hour later and it kicks and runs long enough for me to notice only one pipe is smoking..

Freaking out I check spark, its good. POP off fuel line, its getting to carb. Take off carb and bowl is dry... Blow air into fuel inlet and nothing. Take off float and such, fuel valve is stuck shut. Take it out, scrape and clean crap off.. runs like a champ now.

Always panic thinking its the worst.. but always something simple. Man I love this bike!

Glad you had a simple fix.

** Kind of related story.

I had a 2 into 1 set up on my bike. Kind of wanted to switch over to twins. So I went to install ... wait let be back up ; My friend went to install ( while I played gofer) the carbs. Got it all done and running. Came out the next day and the frickin bike wouldn't start. No fuel. I said fuck it and ripped off the twins and reinstalled my 2 into 1. Runs like a champ. :headbang:

Damn, after not starting for one month? I haven't started mine in almost nine months.....I sure hope I don't regret going that long

Ya, we went to ls first part of Dec. Then I start it once a monthish... 9 months is a long time, you drain carbs?
