ticktock Posted February 7, 2012 Report Posted February 7, 2012 Honda has a service limit for every part in their motors. The banshee has no thickness tolerance or inside diameter size or anything else to tell me when those are worn. Then look worn to me, they look like they have lost a little metal from the wear surfaces and 1-2 3-4 seem to have more play than 5-6. Should I just pay the 90 bucks and replace them ? Any advice. Helps Oh, my crank seems to be more towards the starboard (right) side of the engine. It has also eaten some metal away from the cases. This does not seem normal to me. Does anyone know what might cause this? The crank pins were in the grooves but it just seems to be hugging the case. It must be old damage because I have no problems with piston grooving or cylinder damage. Seems like the shavings would have eaten the motor rather quickly. How much, you can see the case over the crank and a larger gap on the port side Adam Quote

ticktock Posted February 7, 2012 Author Report Posted February 7, 2012 I'm talking about gaps and lobes rubbing not big end clearance. Just something weird Quote
