neither is better...

 

1-5 if you use first, or only run 300-400ft

 

2-5 if you don't use first and launch in second and only run 300-400ft

 

1-6 if you run asphalt

 

dunable if you don't want to have to stop to down shift

 

the only reason most ppl only have a 5 gear trans is to save weight and cost
