JDP421 Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 I wanna convert my bike to alcohol but if I do will It affect my motor at all?? like hurt it ? Quote
Wildcardracing Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 If done properly it won't hurt anything. With alcohol you will make more power, but you will get about half of the mileage and will need to purge. What is your setup and what carbs do you have? -Brandon Quote
JDP421 Posted December 15, 2011 Author Report Posted December 15, 2011 Brandon - We are not to sure on my setup. We know the bikes a stock cylinder and stroke it's ported but the guy we bought it from did not know wat kind of porting was done but it's got shearer in frame drag pipes milled head +6 inch swinger and off brand oko carbs that are 30mm bored to 33's. Wildcardracing Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 Also, what's your elevation? I'm not sure if Keihin bowls will fit OKO carbs, never dealt with them myself. To my knowledge they are pretty much a carbon copy of a Keihin so converting them should be much the same. Quote
JDP421 Posted December 15, 2011 Author Report Posted December 15, 2011 I'm at about 117 feet above sea level but ussually I'm riding at pismo dumont or sand mountain so I don't do much around where I live just taking it out every once in awhile so my carbs don't gumb up while it sitsbis about all for around were i live .
