I may be wrong but lemme know if i am. If i get wider a arms the bike will for sure be lower...but will +3 +1 a arms be too low, if i use a stock swing arm...or does the swing arm not effect it? or should i just go with +2 +1 a arms?

Is there any common knowledge available to how much longer my shocks need to be with my +3+1. I but my stockers on and the front was just too low. Is there a ratio that tells you how much to add to the shock length for every inch added to a-arm length to sustain stock ride height. I know it's not a 1 to 1 ratio. I searched and couldn't find anything but guesses ( I probably just overlooked the answer on here, if so, I apologize)

Thanks,

Lonny

Just because the arms themselves are longer does not mean it will sit lower. If the lower shock mounts are the same distance out it will sit at the same height as before with the same shocks, unless under load, where as DDQ stated already, the added leverage will compress the shocks further.

Aftermarket arms are NOT intended to be used with stock shocks, of course it "works," but horribly so. Don't be cheap and save up for properly set up shocks for the a arms is the moral of the story.
