wacko2000 Posted November 30, 2011 Report Posted November 30, 2011 well stock bars are 7/8 and 1 1/8 so you would need risers/adaptors so they actually are higher.. Also flexxbar have a few different options available, different heights etc thanks for the compliment.. Joe Quote

Nieskes Posted December 2, 2011 Report Posted December 2, 2011 i cut my stem in half, welded a 2inch sleve on it, powdercoated it and put some protaper fat bars on. Costed me 30 for the bars and free for the metal. You dont have to spend a bunch of money to have a setup that feels right for you. Quote

I put the "sleeve" more or less a plug, on the inside of the stem, Its about 6 inches long for support but only left a 2 inch gap. I was going to put another sleeve on the outside but never got around to it.
