EZ2FLEE Posted November 14, 2011 Report Posted November 14, 2011 What shock length is most beneficial for a +2 +1 arms, and a +2 swinger .... Thanks, Bob Quote
So Cal Suspension Posted November 14, 2011 Report Posted November 14, 2011 Unless the arms were designed for a different shock length (Long Travel), they will use stock shock length. 14.5" eye to eye. Quote
EZ2FLEE Posted November 14, 2011 Author Report Posted November 14, 2011 Well this winter Im gonna have stellar build some, so I was just curious on the length, I'm not your extremist that's out doin 70footers it anything just want a comfy ride in trails and dunes with the occasional jump, without the worry of bottoming out, I'm 195lbs Quote
So Cal Suspension Posted November 14, 2011 Report Posted November 14, 2011 Yeah, just run stock length shocks, then. You don't gain anything by running longer shocks. The bike will sit higher, but the shocks will also bottom out earlier, limiting your up travel. Quote
EZ2FLEE Posted November 14, 2011 Author Report Posted November 14, 2011 Ah hah..... Makes sense......I called you and left a message w/ my number Quote
So Cal Suspension Posted November 14, 2011 Report Posted November 14, 2011 I got it. I'll give you a call in a little bit when I'm on the way to the post office. I've got a busy day today. Quote
