Ok so I traded for this 04 Shee that needed a bottom end rebuild. The guy had everything I needed minus a gasket set and flywheel puller. So I rebuilt the bottom end and got it all back together. Well I never messed with the carbs til now (the shee had been sitting for about a month). When I got it all together the left carb was bleeding fuel through the bowl vent line. So I cleaned the pilots and mains only to discover i wasn't getting fuel from my tank. So I cleaned out the junk from all the lines or so I thought. After the cleaning I took it on a test ride.....it had an off idle bog but I revved past it ....well about full throttle in third it bogged out on me and hasn't started since. I did a full cleaning on the carbs this time as I found more junk in the line. I looked at my plugs and they are wet and black which tells me it was running rich...I had also gone on more than one test ride. PLEASE HELP

Mods: t5s, no air box lid, kn air filter w/ pre-filter, tors system completely disconnected

Jets: pilot 25, mains unknown (no number on them)

P.S I cleaned one carb at a time so no parts were mixed up

P.p.s ......I kick on it and kick on it and all I get is a puff out the left exhaust pipe. The choke crossover tube is on and I'm running a p.o.s boost bottle (it came on it) ohh my elevation is 131ft above sea level and my air screw is at 1 1/2 turns out. Hope I can figure this out.

your pilot should be 27, if it was leaking out of the over flow tube then it is possible you flooded the motor. and i would run a 290-300 main jet.i forgot where my needle is. After you did the bottom end did you do a leak down test? did you do a comp test? just because it new doesn't mean it is sealed right.if you still have stuff coming out the gas then you could even have a clogged jet or petcock. if you can't get the gas tank cleaned i would replace it. and if you are leaking fuel its not a jet problem it the needle float rubber is worn and needs to be replaced.

Ok today I replaced the plugs and reeds....I replaced the rubber o-ring on the float needle seat... I might have smashed it but haven't checked it....to busy trying to get this beast started...I have spark and fuel. I probably did flood the motor because my reeds and intake tubes are soaked in fuel. I never did a leak down test or compression test but both of those and re-sync on the carbs are all next.
